Flashes were snapping, models were strutting down the runway and the crowd was applauding as they enjoyed the opening night kickoff of this year’s Swim Week of the Palm Beaches (SWPB). Held September 25-27 at the Amrit Ocean Resort on Singer Island, the weekend event went beyond fashion to include a wellness component. Mark Becker’s NEWLIFE Expo, America’s longest-running longevity and wellness summit, was held in conjunction on Saturday and Sunday.
VIPs could stay at the resort and soak up the sun while enjoying the wellness spa. There also was an option to have front row access to their beach pickleball tournament. Spa services, fitness classes, a panel hosted by Gloria Govan and more drew in attendees, while ongoing fashion shows also kept everyone’s attention throughout. The presence of NFL legend Lorenzo Neal, who hosted the VIP Lounge, and MLB Hall of Fame baseball player Frank Thomas spiced things up.
Featured designers included Capristan, Noiraud, Carlos Andres, Boca Babes, Berry Beachy, Whipped Cream Bikini Collection and more. They also had a special collaboration with Miss USA Official Sponsor Heat Swim.
When not watching fashion shows or participating in classes or other services, attendees could peruse what vendors had to offer and spend time networking with the Who’s Who of the Palm Beaches.
Media like Let’s Talk Magazine, Palm Beach After Dark and others captured the moment throughout the event.
Beyond fashion and wellness, SWPB supported U.S. Olympic Diving through USA Diving, an organization dedicated to providing a safe environment for its members and the diving community while building the sport and developing athletes on the path toward Olympic success.
The event also supported GenBlue, a nonprofit working to empower underserved communities with life-saving aquatic literacy.
Swim Week of the Palm Beaches was made possible by a collaboration between The Biz Angels and V&T Events and Izzy Rosales, Tori Picard and Victor Concepcion were partners in this endeavor.
